So I’m in a bit of a pickle this morning and hoping someone can help me out. My Yukon has been sitting in the parking lot at my office in Arjan for a couple of days because I’ve been using my other car, and when I tried to start it today to go for a meeting, it was completely dead. No crank, no lights, absolutely nothing. I managed to get a jump from a colleague and drove it around for a bit, but the battery is clearly on its last legs and I know I need to replace it before I get stranded somewhere worse. The thing is, I’ve had bad experiences in the past with garages that don’t really know what they’re doing with these big American SUVs, especially with the start-stop systems and all the electronics that need to be reset after a battery change. I’ve heard some places just throw in any battery that fits and don’t bother with the proper coding, which can cause all sorts of warning lights and issues down the line. I’m based in Arjan and I’m hoping to find someone reasonably close who actually knows these vehicles properly. What I really need is GMC car battery supply handled by expert technicians in Arjan because I don’t want to risk damaging the electrical system by taking it somewhere that doesn’t have the right equipment or knowledge. Has anyone in the area used a workshop they’d actually recommend for a GMC battery replacement? I’m a bit stressed about this because I really can’t afford to be without the car for long and I don’t want to end up with bigger problems just because I chose the wrong place. Any suggestions would be massively appreciated.
